Personally, I did not like the video in the sense that it was quite biased and did not necessarily present the information in the way that it should have been presented. Although I whole heartedly agree that the production of this so-called stuff is not environmentally just, the information in the video focused more on political and social issues. The environmental degradation is something to be aware of, but it isn't like we all can live in a individualistic society and not produce and consume. The video focused on the fact that we spend all of our money on shopping and such when things like "health care, education, and safe transportation, sustainability, and justice" are at stake but how do you think people pay for things such as these? it comes from a growing economy which strictly depends on supply and demand. Therefore, although it is an environmental issue, we need to find a way to moderate our demand and supply along with environmental sustainability.
On the other hand, the environmental issues that are discussed are important and need to be addressed.
