The Story of Stuff is a video leaning to one side of an argument. It seems to be like another "An Inconvenient Truth". Honestly as soon as the woman began speaking it seemed as though it was just a big warning to all people to avoid pollution as much as possible. The Story of Stuff Project created the video just watched called "Story of Stuff" explains, using pictures, as to how we as people have created a power higher than the governments of the planet we all know and love. The Corporations of the planet. It all starts in a cycle and the first step to this cycle is extraction of valuable and limited resources. All of these resources are brought into the second step which is factory production; this causes the raw materials to be manipulated and formed into toxic products. Thirdly is the step of consumer purchase of said toxic products. Fourth is the golden arrow also known as consumers as a whole along with much similarity to step five which is household use. The last step is disposal of the toxic items and they are incinerated and turned into super toxins... the most dangerous being Dioxin.
The movie was able to reach out to me in a way that I felt very biased and at the same time also opposing what had been said such as the animations showing a little hypothetical scenario along with real facts that would lead to our inevitable demise.
